Review Policy

Phoebe, Tee, and Sean now accept review copies for review on the blog! If you’d like us to review your work, please contact us at the above address. Our review policies are as follows:

Phoebe

Phoebe posts honest, detailed reviews of any book she reads to completion. Her goal is to be fair and transparent in reviewing. Her favorite genres are:

 

• Young adult
• Science fiction (especially anything with aliens!)
• Dystopian/post-apocalyptic
• Contemporary fantasy (urban fantasy, paranormal)
• And steampunk

 

Phoebe accepts both paper and electronic review copies for review.

Tee

Tee’s lucky. As Reviews Editor for BDCWB she’s always got a galley or new book on hand, but most of those go to her contributors. When she is reading for fun or review, she, like most of her Interrobang buddies likes:

• Young adult
• Science fiction
• Dystopian/post-apocalyptic
• Contemporary fantasy (urban fantasy, paranormal)
• And steampunk

 

Sean

Sean reviews most books that he reads to completion. He uses Goodreads’ star system for book ratings, but only as a general guideline. He likes reviewing books that do interesting things with genre boundaries. His favorite genres are:

 

• Young adult
• Science fiction (leaning more toward the softer end of things these days)
• Contemporary YA, particularly anything with a speculative twist.
• Literary fiction, although he doesn’t tend to review it as often unless it straddles the line between literary and genre.
